If you're already a BritBox subscriber, switching to Premier is easy. Once you upgrade, you'll instantly unlock BritBox Premier features like:

If you upgrade through BritBox.com, we’ll automatically prorate your current subscription. That means the unused portion of your existing plan will be credited toward your new Premier subscription. Your billing will continue annually from the date of upgrade.

Click on your name in the top right corner
Click on 'My Account'
Under 'Plan & Billing'
Click 'Change plan'
Choose ‘Premier’
Confirm by clicking 'Change plan' again
On the ‘Confirm your plan change’ screen, click ‘Agree & change plan’
If you subscribe through Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple TV Channels or The Roku Channel, Premier is not available yet. To upgrade, you’ll need to cancel your current subscription and resubscribe to Premier through BritBox once your billing period ends.
Yes! If you’ve upgraded to BritBox Premier and decide to return to the standard plan, you can do that at the end
of your billing period.
Because Premier is an annual-only plan, we don’t offer partial refunds if you cancel early, but your access to
Premier features will continue through your renewal date.

BBC Select content is factual—you won’t find scripted dramas or comedies here—and it brings a broader perspective on British life, culture, and global affairs.
With BritBox Premier, you’ll be able to watch select new and returning shows and films before anyone else—often up
to a month ahead of their general release.
We aim to release one to two Early Access titles each month, based on availability and streaming rights. These
shows are clearly labeled with a crown icon in the BritBox app and website.
You’ll also find Early Access content highlighted on your home screen and in member newsletters.
Select titles in BritBox Premier stream in 4K Ultra HD (UHD).
To watch in 4K UHD, you’ll need:
A compatible 4K device (such as Apple TV 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K, certain smart TVs, etc.)
A strong internet connection that supports UHD playback
We’ll continue expanding our UHD library over time, but not all content will be available in this format.
BritBox Premier lets you download select shows to watch offline.
You can download up to 25 episodes at a time
Downloads can be spread across up to 5 different devices
You can watch downloads without Wi-Fi or mobile data
Just look for the download icon next to eligible titles in the BritBox app.
Some downloaded content may remain on your devices for a limited time, and some BritBox titles may be
unavailable.
BritBox Premier allows you to stream on up to 4 devices at the same time. This is double the limit of the standard BritBox plan, which supports 2 concurrent streams.
This feature is great for households or families who want to watch different shows and films at the same time.
If you subscribe through Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple TV Channels or The Roku Channel, Premier is not yet available, but we’re working to add support in the future.
If you want access to Premier right away, you can:
Cancel your current partner subscription (after your billing period ends)
Resubscribe via BritBox
If not, we’ll notify you via your platform when Premier becomes available.
